Mr. Valeri spoke of this election being an opportunity for Canadians to see the Martin Vision (not his exact word but pretty much what he meant).
While, the people of Hamilton East Stoney Creek see this as an opportunity to elect an MP from the riding to represent the riding unlike Valeri who represents Martin to the riding.
I for one look forward to giving Valeri the opportunity to find a new job cause being Martin’s monthpiece just does not cut it for the people of Hamilton East Stoney Creek.

Governing with this minority Parliament has brought its own challenges but, through it all, we have remained fixed on building this country and building a better tomorrow for all.

Valeri’s inner circle a little concerned? The opposition calls the Sponsorship Scandal an abuse of public funds. Hence the quote is about the Sponsorship Scandal among other things. I stand my statement. Hope things are going well on your campaign. Not seeing many lawn signs yet for you guys (mind you that the other parties do not have many either). I had coffee the other morning in Hamilton East (Ward 5) and a lot of people are very happy that we have a choice to vote NDP to get rid of the Liberals. I look forward to election night, I am pretty sure we will see 900 votes swing over to the NDP and Mr. Valeri can start collecting his pension.
Mr. Valeri cannot steal this election with the help of Mr. Martin like he did the nomination against Sheila Copps
