The Toronto Star reports that seven NATO soldiers have been killed in action today in Southern Afghanistan. This means there is a chance that some or all of them are Canadian. Right now, at bases and homes across the country, families sit on edge and friends worry. My closer friends from my days in the Canadian Forces are all back in Canada. Many of them are just back from their rotation in Afghanistan.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the CF today.
